Quality Life Services Day Support Program is located in Chesterfield Virginia. This program is designed to provide training and supports to Individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities in the community environment, in order to develop life skills that will allow the individual to become more independent. This is achieved by an array of activities led by our qualified and innovative staff.
Quality Life Services Day Support service activities include Computer and Technology Training, Community Outings and Integration, Educational Trips, Personal Care Assistance, Sensory Stimulation, Community Volunteer Opportunities such as Meals on Wheels, Local Library and Gym Memberships, Arts and Craft Activities, and Life Skills Training.
Quality Life Services Direct Care Staff “Activities Counselors” are trained and experienced in serving Individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities (ranging from mild to severe). We also have extensive knowledge working with individuals with disorders including but not limited to Schizophrenia, Bipolar, ADHD, Depression, and Mood Disorder.
Our Staff are trained to care for Individuals with complex medical needs in areas such as non-ambulatory full care, G-tubes, diabetes, hypertension, PICA, peg tubes, thyroid disorders, seizures, sleep apnea, and obesity.
Quality Life Services provides specialty transportation services in the community which include vehicles equipped with wheelchair lifts for individuals with mobility limitations.
